I am the tear that never falls. I carry in me the silent emotions. It is forbidden to cry over what is gone. I am the tear that never falls. I stay in there holding on to these tired eyes. The eyes that never rest. Wandering the paths hoping to see you once again. I am the tear that never falls. I live on the brink of the long lashes that blink to remind her to keep breathing. I am the tear that never falls. I stay here in the eyes of the one who never gave up. I stay with her for letting go was never a thought. I stay to keep her company. I am the tear that never falls. I stay in her darkened eyes that long for you. I don’t dare fall out for there is no one to catch me. I am the tear that never falls. I live safely in her loneliness, until the moment you return. For it is not me that soothes her dried up dreams. I am the tear that never falls, but yearns for the day when it will be let go. I am the tear that never falls.
