Exhaustion has shown up once again.

Pain is bearable

But consistent.

Smiles returned with love

Clearing the chores one by one.

Length of a day

A perpetual limitation.

Charred desires dusted aside

Another compromise in adulthood.

Seething passion to do more

Keeps me from dreaming a peaceful one.

Tomorrow will try again

Picking up where the tired feet gave up.
